UNITED WE WILL RIDE TO BREAK THE SILENCE.

This page was created to honor Shana “Mini” Warner. Mini was tragically lost on September 24, 2018 to domestic violence. Shana loved riding motorcycles with her fiancée John and doing bike runs for charity events with her friends.

Please join us for Mini’s Run 2019 to raise awareness for domestic violence with 100% of all proceeds raised going to South Shore Resource and Advocacy Center.

A celebration for riders and non-riders will take place at the Whitman VFW Post on 5/4/19.
Registration @ 9am $20pp.
Blessing of bikes @ 11am.
KSU @ 11:30 Sharp.
Riders will then follow a course set out by Minis Fiancée John which will pass through area towns and include the site of Warner’s death, where participants will place flowers ending back at the Whitman VFW with raffles, live music by Honey Cuervo, food donated by Lynch’s Tavern, Many Vendors and a Cornhole tournament.

Officials from the South Shore Resource and Advocacy Center will also be on hand to share information and facts about domestic violence.

The Cape Cod & Islands Chapter of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (MA VI - http://blueknightsma6.tripod.com ) announces that its' 42nd Annual Blessing of the Bikes will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at West Dennis Beach, MA, with the gate opening at 9:30 AM. 

The on-site Blessing will occur at Noon, so bikes must plan on being there, registered & parked by 11:45 AM. The minimum suggested participation donation is $5.00, with proceeds going to the Blue Knights to be used for charitable purposes; such as our Cape Cod Community College Scholarship, Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, American Cancer Society and Blue Knights Special Fund (assisting fellow Officers involved in motorcycle accidents). Refreshments will be available for purchase and vendors can set up stands & tables. In past years, up to 1,500 motorcycles traveled from every State in New England to be a part of the Blessing, with an estimated 2,000-2,250 people in attendance.


Directions to the Blessing: Take US-6 East to Exit 9A and bear right onto Route 134 South. For a leisurely, scenic ride, take US-6A East to Route 134 South in East Dennis and continue until you pass US-6. Continue 2 miles to the Route 28 traffic lights, then cross Route 28 onto Swan River Road. At the end of Swan River Road, take a right onto Lower County Road and about 3/4 of a mile later take a left onto Lighthouse Road. When you enter the small rotary circle, the Beach entrance is halfway around on the other side of the circle. This entrance will be for motorcycles only; cars should continue around the circle and enter the parking lot to the left of the snack bar.

The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club was formed in the Spring of 1974 in Bangor, Maine, with the MA VI Chapter being formed at the start of 1976. There are presently over 20,000 members in 635 Chapters located in 25 Countries around the world. The Blue Knights have donated well over $16.5 million in cash, goods & services have been donated to more than 1,700 charities, including Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS - Assisting surviving family members of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty), Cystic Fibrosis, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE), Make-A-Wish, Toys For Tots and many other worthy local charities.

May 12   -   Mother's Day!

The Ride begins at 8:30am with registration, coffee & donuts; bikers get a chance during this time to meet & mingle with the Patriotic Party People of Pepperell and other riders. A blessing of the bikes and singing of the National Anthem follows. Then it’s stands up at 10 and off you go on a BEAUTIFUL ride through the gorgeous New England towns of Pepperell, Brookline, Milford, Jaffery, Peterborough and Ashby then back to Pepperell for a BIG BANGING PARTY with music, food, raffles and friends honoring Pepperell’s Patriot of the Year.

The Patriot is the Party People of Pepperell’s choice to become the Grand Marshall in the small town BIG BANG Parade. We announce this outstanding citizen after the ride. Last year James R. Triehy was our Patriot. James is Pepperell’s last surviving WWll veteran. He lived, worked and raised a family of 8 in Pepperell for 65 years. We hope to honor another outstanding Pepperellite in 2018!

All proceeds support the small town BIG BANG event; it’s the generous donations from citizens, businesses, and people like YOU who make small town boom, bang, glow and blow for America. Thank-you for your support and we hope to meet and mingle with you on May 19th at the Pepperell VFW! May the 4th be with you on June 30th 2018 our date for small town BIG BANG because we like to start the party not end it. BOOM!

For info: Please join us for Dream Day on Cape Cod's second Paul DeMeo Memorial Motorcycle Run.

Paul lived on Cape Cod for 40 years. He served his country in Vietnam, enlisting in the Army shortly after graduating high school.

He was a master wood craftsman and worked at Shepley Wood Products for 20 years. That's where Paul became involved with Dream Day and he spent countless hours as a volunteer.

He was an incredibly caring and giving man. He loved helping others and was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner - and would be there for anyone.

Paul lost his battle with brain cancer 7 months after being diagnosed at 65.

Mass. BIA's 28th Annual Bike Show and Swap Meet. A show flyer is attached. 
It will be held at Singletary Rod & Gun Club, 300 Sutton Ave., Oxford, MA on Sunday, May 27, 2018. This is the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
Gates open at 10 am. Admission is $10. Kids under 12 are free.
The bike show is open to all British and classic bikes from 1983 or earlier. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each class.
Vendors, field games, food and fun for all.
We will also have a Bike Corral this year for private sale bikes. No charge with your admission.
Vendor space is also free with your paid admission and a door prize ($15. value).
