TENTATIVE Event - Copied from last year May 6  (Sunday)  Blues For The Troops VI

221 Newbury St, Danvers, Massachusetts 01923

It's a sure sign of Spring in these parts and those of us who play any part in making it happen look forward to it all year long! It's our sixth annual BLUES FOR THE TROOPS, baby, and it gets BIGGER and BETTER every year!

Amazing raffle prizes, fantastic bands and special guest performers (TBA), 50/50 and silent auctions, with every dime raised filling the coffers for Operation Troop Support, a qualified 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. Operation Troop Support works tirelessly 24/7/365 to
provide our troops with things they can't get anywhere else, both during deployment and upon their return home.

Lee and I take great pride in being able to say, year after year, that every single cent we take in goes directly to OTS, which in turn uses all that money to send care packages all around the world to our troops where they're serving! That means if one of us needs something
to fulfill our role(s), we dig into our own pockets to make it happen. There's NOBODY being paid, claiming expenses or otherwise nicking our bottom line because every cent counts and we consider it part of our own personal donation to the cause.

The Lee Hawkins Band and all the other artists, performers and volunteers are honored to play a part in the benefit by donating their time and talents, while the Breakaway in Danvers graciously provides the venue, which just happens to be one of the hottest live music
rooms on the North Shore!

Your $10 cover charge - every cent of which goes directly to Operation Troop Support again this year - means you get to hear some of the best talent on the North Shore (or anywhere else!) tear it up on one of the nicest stages in New England!

It's a terrific example of community in action to help Dick and Christine Moody, Ruthie and Steve Weick and all the other great folks at Operation Troop Support do the amazing things they do for the service men and women willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Local
businesses and artists are contributing to make the raffles something that truly will have something for everyone!

If you have an item or service you'd like to donate for our raffles, please contact David Papa, who is coordinating our fund raising activities again this year. God Bless America and God Bless our Troops!
