Jordan Francis Warren was born on June 19th 2009 to Jonathan and Alisha Warren and
big sister Alexis.  At birth it was clear to doctors that Jordan had low muscle tone
and was unable to swallow on his own. Today there is still no clear diagnosis.
Jordan has had surgery to receive a trach and
g-tube.  Our benefit’s goal is to help the Warren family get an accessible place to
live so they will be able to bring Jordan home!

Cost is $15 in advance/$20 at the door (per person). This includes a pot luck buffet
as well as a door ticket to the benefit. There will be raffles, a monte carlo event

This event is being held in memory of Marine Captain Jennifer J. Harris, 28, of
Swampscott, Mass.; assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine
Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp
Pendleton, Calif.; died Feb. 7, 2007 when the helicopter she was flying in crashed
while supporting combat operations in Anbar Province, Iraq

The ride will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010; rain date Sunday, October 17, 2010. In case of inclement weather, a rain date will be announced no later than Friday, October 1 on 100.3 WHEB, ROCK 101 WGIR FM and The Morning Buzz. Riders who are unable to join us at an Official Start Location are welcome to join us at Gunstock Mountain at 11:30 AM.

Ma. Chapter 3 of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club is hosting a poker run Sunday, October 4, 2009 as a fund raiser in memory of their Vice President Fire Fighter Bill Hodge, who passed away suddenly last year.
Proceeds to benefit Shriners Burn Hospital in Boston.
Sign up starts at Stop & Shop in Halifax at 9:00 AM.

After the run there is a cookout at the Upland Club with a DJ.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's World War II veterans for all of their sacrifices.  Through generous donations, Honor Flight New England transports our heroes to Washington, DC to visit and reflect at their memorials at NO COST TO THE VETERAN.

Help us thank our World War II heroes for their service and sacrifice by participating in the Honor Ride / Poker Run

Registration is from 9:00am to 10:00am at Nashua Harley Davidson on Route 101A in Merrimack, NH.  Prizes are awarded for the best and worst poker hand.  Each rider will be provided lunch as well as a gift to commemorate this inaugural ride. Raffle tickets for additional prizes will be sold as well.

Ice Chest Bar & Grille Sponsors Third Annual Chest Fest

“A Party with a Purpose” to benefit Community Nurse and Hospice Care, Visiting Nurse Association serving Southeastern Massachusetts.

Fairhaven, MA, 24 August 2010 – Chest Fest 2010 is a Tent Party and Bike Run which is being held on the grounds of the Ice Chest Bar & Grille on Sunday, October, 10, 2010. The party will be held under a 5,000 square foot tent where a full stage will host multiple bands throughout the day. Some of the bands who will donate their services include J. Kelley, Shipyard Wreck, The Relics, Johnny Edwards Power of Soul and Living on a Bad Name. Nationally renowned bike builder Dave Perewitz will be on hand and will display many of his custom bikes built by his namesake Perewitz Cycle Fabrication. A full cash bar will be available and a fall-themed dinner will be served under the tent as well. There will be vendors onsite including Minuteman Harley Davidson, Bay State Leather and Jewelry by Vicki.

The party kicks off as hundreds of thundering bikes depart in formation. The Bike Run will leave from the Ice Chest at noon with police escort. Registration for the run starts at 10:30. The ride will travel through several local towns on a scenic tour and return to the Ice Chest for the festivities. A motorcycle however is not required to attend the party. Everyone is welcome. A donation of $25.00 per person is requested with all proceeds going to Community Nurse and Hospice Care. Tickets are available at the Ice Chest or through Community Nurse.

Last year as beneficiary of Chest Fest 2009, Community Nurse received a check for $17,000.00. Almost 600 hundred bikes participated in the run and hundreds of others joined the party to make this an incredibly successful community event. Everyone involved appreciates the support.

American Legion Riders and the Marine Corps League, both in Plymouth are holding the 1st Annual Toy Run. Meet at the Hanover Mall Rte 53 in Hanover Ma. Registration 9:30 to 11AM. Lv Hanover Mall at 11AM for a ride with Mr and Mrs Santa Claus on the back roads to the Plymouth Waterfront and then to the American Legion Post 40 on Federal Furnace Rd in Plymouth. Donation of $15 or a new $15 toy. Lunch is included. Raffles, trophys and T-shirts at end of Ride. All toys and money donations will be given to the Plymouth Chapter of the Salvation Army at end of Run to be given to needy children throughout Plymouth Cty.
